Terms of Service
The terms that apply when you use our website or book a locksmith service with Fast Local Locksmith LLC, written in plain language.
01Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to your use of the Fast Local Locksmith LLC website and to locksmith services provided by Fast Local Locksmith LLC ("Fast Local Locksmith", "we", "us"). By using the website, requesting a service or allowing us to perform work, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree, please do not use the website or request our services.
02Our services
We provide mobile locksmith services for vehicles, homes and businesses across the Dallas-Fort Worth area. These include lockouts, key cutting and programming, rekeying, lock repair and replacement, smart lock installation and safe opening. We come to your location; we do not operate a walk-in storefront.
Availability, arrival times and the services we can perform depend on location, time of day, the lock, key or vehicle involved, and parts availability. Arrival times given on the phone are good-faith estimates, not guarantees.
03Proof of ownership and authorization
Before opening, rekeying or making keys for any home, vehicle, business or safe, we require reasonable proof that you live there, own it or are authorized to access it. Examples include a photo ID showing the address, a lease, a utility bill, vehicle registration or title, or written authorization from the property owner or manager.
We may refuse or stop work at any time if authorization cannot be confirmed or if anything about the job appears unsafe, unlawful or suspicious. If we cannot confirm authorization after arriving, a service call charge may still apply.
By requesting a service, you confirm that you are legally entitled to access the property, vehicle or safe, and that the information you give us is true.
04Quotes, pricing and payment
We give you a price or price range on the phone before a technician is dispatched, based on the information you provide. The final price can change if the job on site is different from what was described, for example a different lock type, damaged hardware, a different vehicle model or extra parts. If that happens, the technician will explain the change before doing additional work, and you can decline it.
- Payment is due when the work is completed, unless we agree otherwise in writing.
- We accept major credit cards. Other payment methods may be available; ask when you call.
- Any service call, after-hours or trip charge will be explained to you before dispatch.
05Cancellations
You can cancel a request at any time before a technician is dispatched at no charge. If you cancel after a technician is on the way or has arrived, a service call charge may apply. We will tell you about any such charge when you book.
06Entry methods and existing conditions
We use non-destructive entry methods first whenever practical. Some situations, such as damaged, high-security, seized or malfunctioning locks and safes, may require drilling, destructive entry or parts replacement. We will explain this and get your approval before using a destructive method.
We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, wear or defects in locks, doors, frames, vehicles, electronics or safes, or for problems caused by hardware that was already failing. Where we notice existing damage, we will tell you before work begins.
07Vehicle keys and programming
Key cutting and programming depend on the vehicle's make, model, year and security system. Some vehicles may need parts or access that only a dealership can provide. If we cannot complete programming for your vehicle, we will tell you, and you will not be charged for programming that was not completed. Charges for parts already cut or ordered at your request, and any agreed service call charge, may still apply.
08Parts and workmanship
Parts and hardware we supply may carry the manufacturer's warranty. If you have a problem with our workmanship, contact us promptly and describe the issue. We will review it and, where the problem is caused by our work, make it right. This does not cover damage from misuse, accidents, tampering, normal wear, or hardware supplied by someone else.
09Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fast Local Locksmith LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, including lost time, lost business or lost profits, arising from our website or services. Our total liability for any claim related to a service is limited to the amount you paid for that service.
Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under Texas law that cannot be waived.
10Use of our website
Information on our website, including guides and price ranges, is general information. It is not a quote and may change without notice. Prices for your job are confirmed on the phone.
- You agree not to misuse the website, submit false information, or try to interfere with how it works.
- Website content, including text, images and design, belongs to Fast Local Locksmith LLC or its licensors and may not be copied without permission.

11Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Dallas County, Texas, unless the law requires otherwise. Before filing any claim, please contact us so we can try to resolve the issue directly.
12Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when they last changed. The version posted when you request a service applies to that service.
